Scott’s Law official day of remembrance is 12/23 and honors Scott Gillen, a Chicago Fire Department Lieutenant, who was fatally struck by an intoxicated driver while at the scene of an accident two days before Christmas in the year 2000. This tragic accident left a wife and five daughters without a husband and father.
